In recent developments, Neogen completed the divestiture of its global cleaners and disinfectants business to Kersia Group in July 2025 for $130 million in cash plus contingent consideration, using net proceeds including $100 million to reduce debt and enhance focus on core diagnostics; appointed Mike Nassif as president and chief executive officer effective August 11, 2025, succeeding John Adent, alongside Bryan Riggsbee as chief financial officer in November 2025 and Avi Pelossof to the board in October 2025; formed a strategic partnership with Biomatter to develop AI-enabled enzyme-based products for food safety testing; renewed sponsorship with the United States Equestrian Federation in 2025 to advance equine botulism prevention education tied to its BotVax B vaccine; launched the Listeria Right Now molecular assay in 2025; and reaffirmed fiscal 2026 guidance of $820 million to $840 million in revenue and $165 million to $175 million in adjusted EBITDA following first-quarter results and restructuring with headcount reductions.
